Meet Kyle

Kyle from Schwartz Athlete Spotlight kneeling on a football field during athlete film evaluation coverage

Kyle’s approach to film evaluation is built on one thing —what actually shows up when the film runs.

Kyle isn’t watching for highlights — he’s watching what shows up consistently.

Over time, Kyle saw the same pattern again and again — talented athletes without clear direction.

Especially in areas that aren’t traditional “football towns,” where exposure and guidance can be limited.

And families are often left trying to figure it out on their own.

That’s where this started.

Not to add more noise.

Not to sell hype.

But to bring clarity to a process that’s often misunderstood.

When Kyle watches film, it’s not about highlights.

It’s about details that consistently show up:

• Body movement and control

• Hip flexibility and change of direction

• Staying on assignment

• Whether the feet and lower half actually match what the athlete is trying to do

Because that’s what translates.

One of the biggest misconceptions Kyle sees — talent alone isn’t what gets athletes noticed.

Coaches are evaluating the full picture:

• Classroom habits

• Character and accountability

• What an athlete does when no one is watching

The graphics are nice. The exposure helps.

But the product is always the film.

Kyle is known for being honest, direct, and easy to talk to — someone athletes connect with and parents trust.

His approach is simple:

• Be honest

• Be direct

• Respect the athlete and the family

No hype

No projections

No promises

Just a clear understanding of what’s actually there — and what it means moving forward.

“I know what I see.”

How Kyle Evaluates

What actually gets evaluated — and what coaches are really looking at on film.

Kyle’s evaluations are built on what consistently shows up on film.

Not isolated plays.

Every evaluation breaks down what actually shows up in real game situations:

  • How an athlete moves and operates within the structure of the play

  • Reaction, timing, and decision-making after the snap

  • Position-specific traits that translate across game situations

  • Effort, physicality, and consistency throughout the film

  • How performance holds up beyond highlight moments

Every evaluation is grounded in real game context.

Not assumptions. Not projections.

So athletes and families can clearly understand:
What translates — and what needs to improve.

Why This Exists

There’s a lot out there around recruiting, exposure, and highlights.

A lot of it sounds good.

Not all of it is clear.

This was built to keep things simple.

To give athletes and families a real look at what actually shows up on film —

Not just the best plays.
Not based on guesswork.

Just what’s there, snap after snap.

Because if you’re going to improve —

You have to see it clearly first.
